KIREI VI 22 HD

About this item

KIREI VI 22 HD is a shear-stable OCP-type polymer (ethylene-propylene copolymer) designed for use as a viscosity modifier in all-season, heavy-duty engine oils with extended drain intervals of API CI-4, SN, ACEA A3/B4, E7, MB 229.3/228.3, MAN 3275, and others. The viscosity modifier provides excellent viscometric performance combined with outstanding oxidative stability. It demonstrates high cost efficiency, as well as thickening ability in combination with low pour points, low-temperature viscosities CCS and MRV when used with a large number of pour point depressants.

KEY TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES

15% longer oil life – Thanks to high shear stability in the Bosch test (SSI=22), engine oils based on KIREI VI 22 HD remain in their viscosity grade (Stay-In-Grade) for a long period of time, ensuring pressure stability and reducing wear in heavy-duty engines.

10% reduction in engine wear – Due to high shear stability, KIREI VI 22 HD ensures a high value of High Temperature High Shear (HTHS) viscosity, while the oil film in the engine retains its required thickness, reducing friction and wear even under high temperatures and loads.

10% more cost-effective – KIREI VI 22 HD polymer offers an excellent price-to-performance ratio and is an ideal choice for unifying viscosity modifiers used in motor oil production plants.
