KIREI PMAV 13
KIREI PMAV 13 is an alkyl methacrylate copolymer dissolved in mineral base oil. It provides very high shear stability, ensuring viscosity grade retention even under the most severe operating conditions. It is used in the development of shear-stable hydraulic oil formulations of the HVLP class at concentrations of 5–10 wt.%. The thickener concentration may vary depending on the initial quality and type of the base oil used.
It is effective in lubricants based on solvent-refined or hydrotreated base oils. It provides a significant increase in viscosity index and reduction of pour point. In combination with KIREI PPD depressants, it allows achieving optimal low-temperature properties.
Specifications
KIREI PMAV 13 is recommended for use as a thickener for hydraulic oils of category DIN 51524 Part 3 (HVLP), transmission oils, or engine oils of viscosity grade 0W-40 in cases where optimal performance cannot be achieved with OCP thickeners.
