
KIREI PMAV 28 is an alkyl methacrylate copolymer dissolved in mineral base oil. It provides very high thickening efficiency for all types of base oils with an optimal balance between thickening performance and shear stability. It is used in the formulation of HVLP hydraulic oils at treat rates of 5–10 wt.%. The dosage may vary depending on the initial quality and type of base oil used.
KIREI PMAV 28 offers an excellent ratio of thickening performance to shear stability, making it a cost-effective solution for finished product formulations. It is effective in lubricants based on selectively refined or hydrotreated base oils. It significantly improves viscosity index and reduces pour point. When combined with KIREI PPD depressants, it delivers optimal low-temperature properties.

Specifications
KIREI PMAV 28 is recommended for use as a viscosity modifier in hydraulic oils of DIN 51524 Part 3 (HVLP), transmission oils, or engine oils of SAE 0W-40 grade in cases where optimal performance cannot be achieved with OCP viscosity modifiers.
