About this item

KATANA Satetsu PMX 20 – low viscosity silicone fluid based on polydimethylsiloxane. It is a colorless transparent corrosion-inert liquid without smell and taste with high dielectric, damping, surfactants, water-repellent and anti-adhesion properties. 

KATANA Satetsu PMX 20 is used as a basis fluid for heat-resistant anti-adhesionemulsions for molds in tire and rubber production, for greases with a plastic-rubber or metal-plastic contact. It used as antifoam additive, low and high temperature heat transfer fluids, insulators for power transformers, low-temperature hydraulic oils, shock absorber and damping fluids. In the rubber industry it is used as a plasticizer for various elastomers. It is inherentand is widely used in the cosmetics industry: for lipsticks, shaving foams, hair lacquers, etc. Operating temperature range is from -60 to + 2000C.
