2,2’thiodiethylenebis[3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate] is an ashless, sulfur-containing hindered phenol that can be used as aprimary or secondary antioxidant for lubricants formulated with mineral oils andsynthetic fluids. It offers well proven cost effective performance on its own or incombination with the aminic antioxidants. It has superior thermal stabilityover the conventional phenolic antioxidants such as BHT.

APPLICATIONS
2,2’thiodiethylenebis[3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate] can be used in a broad range of lubricants, in both automotive andindustrial applications, particularly in engine oils, gear oils, and greases. Itis recommended for use in high temperature operating conditions. 2,2’thiodiethylenebis[3-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate] is approved under USFDA 21CFR178.3570 for blending in foodgrade lubricants at levels not exceeding 0.5 percent by weight. Typical Treatment Rate: 0.1 – 1.0 wt.%.
STORAGE
Product is stable under normal storage conditions. Store away from any source of ignition, in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Keepcontainer tightly closed when not in use.• Avoid iron contamination as with most phenolic antioxidants.
