Phenyl-alpha-naphthylamine is an excellent antioxidant for synthetic fluids and mineral oils. It is particularly useful in high temperature applications, such as aviation turbine engine oils, and in the formulation of high performance industrial oilsand greases.

N,N’-di-sec-butyl-p-phenylene diamine provides excellent oxidation stability in a wide range of petroleum products, and is especially effective as an antioxidant in biodiesel. 

Polymerized 1,2-dihydro-2,2,4-trimethylquinoline is an especially effective antioxidant in ester containing fluids andgrease formulations.
