C13-C15 branched and linear alkyl ester of 3,5-bis-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxy benzenepropanoic acid is a hindered phenolic antioxidant which provides superiorstabilization to lubricants formulated with mineral oils and synthetic fluids. Its liquidform allows for easy handling and blending.The mixture of long branched and linearalkyl chain offers added flexibility of compatibility with lubricant base stocks andcontributes to improved thermal stability.

APPLICATIONS 

C13-C15 branched and linear alkyl ester of 3,5-bis-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxy benzenepropanoic acid is recommended for applications that operate below 150°C. Forhigher temperature applications, the product can be used in conjunction with a rangeof diphenylamine antioxidants to enhance performance. Itcan be used in a broad range of lubricants, in both automotive andindustrial applications, including engine oils, turbine oils, cutting oils, gear oils,hydraulic fluids, metal working fluids and greases.Typical Treatment Rate: 0.1 – 1.0 wt.%.

 

STORAGE

Product is stable under normal storage conditions. Store away from any source of ignition, in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Keepcontainer tightly closed when not in use.Avoid iron contamination as with most phenolic antioxidants.
